Detail of choroidal neovascularization (CNV)
ncRNA name CXCR4 siRNA
ncRNA Category siRNA
Disease name choroidal neovascularization (CNV)
Species Macaca mulatta
Tissues/Cell_line rhesus choroid-retinal endothelial cell line RF/6A
Methods siRNA transfection, qPCR, Western blot, flow cytometry
Expression pattern associated
Functional description SDF-1-induced cell proliferation was abolished after CXCR4 siRNA transfection. SDF-1 promoted RF/6A cell migration, but this was reversed by CXCR4 siRNA transfection. When the cells were transfected with both CXCR4 and CXCR7 siRNA, the stimulating effect of SDF-1 on RF/6A cell tube formation was totally abolished.
